Northern Kentucky’s Eighth Annual Traumatic Brain Injury Conference

It’s no surprise that March (Brain Injury Awareness Month) is a popular month for brain injury conferences. On Friday, March 28th the MRJ Brain Injury Team will attend the Eighth Annual Northern Kentucky Traumatic Brain Injury Conference. The conference provides education, awareness, advocacy and support to brain injured survivors, families, caregivers, attorneys, and healthcare professionals. It also gives in-depth educational sessions on topics such as anatomy & physiology of brain injury, rehabilitation, re-entrance into the community, brain injury programs & resources, ethics involved in legalities, assistive technology, etc. Every brain injury is different, so attending conferences grows the MRJ Brain Injury Team’s understanding of neuroscience and furthers our mission to understand each client’s needs on an individual basis.

The public is welcome to attend this event, and we encourage everyone to drop in. The event will be held at 1379 Donaldson Road, Erlanger KY, 41018 in the Receptions Conference Center. The cost is $25 per person who is not seeking continuing education.

Starting next week, the MRJ Brain Injury Team will begin publishing a series of blog entries on the current understanding of post-traumatic headaches. This information will stem from information gathered at the 10th Annual World Congress on Brain Injury last week.
